It doesn't look like there are any spares, but you may be able to find an oven door or microwave handle that will fit if you can get the distance between the screws right. If not, you can replace with two round knobs in wood or heat proof ceramic / plastic. Click on the images tab to see lots

lLAST TIME MY GE MICRO HANDLE BROKE IT WAS 179 FOR REPAIR
IT BROKE AGAIN AT THE TOP
AS ITS TEN YEARS OLD I JUST PUT CRAZY GLUE AT THE TOP AND THEN TOOK AN OLD RUBBER HANDLE FROM A CAN OPENER AND TAPED IT WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE TO THE INSIDE TOP OF THE HANDLE THIS WAY THE HANDLE CAN ONLY BE OPENED FROM THE BOTTOM NEXT I WILL TRY TO GLUE THE CAN OPENER HANDLE TO THE BACK OF THE MICRO HANDLE AND REMOVE THE TAPE

There is a product called Power Dissolver by Dawn. It sprays on and wipes off and works great. I have gotten it at Wal-Mart, not available at all stores.

No, I have not. I was going to check with Rival to find out if the handle on the 18 qt would fit but I think that means I have to buy the whole lid. When I spoke with them before they would sell the lid but not just the handle. However, they didn't have any 16 qt lids. Seems ridiculous that you can't just buy the handle but I don't know what else to do.
