Consider NOT using the USB connection.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, it won't cost much more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

SOURCE: needa charger cord for polaroid m737t

You cannot charge this camera through a USB cable, you need to use the battery charger that comes with it. If they didn't give you a separate charger, you need to call Polaroid and order a new one, but be prepared to pay almost $30.

SOURCE: how do i upload pictures from my polaroid a300

Easiest way...forget the cord. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

HI,
Here is a link to a page where you can download the user manual. Click on the link on the left side of the pages that says I want to download the user manual. It shows a little guy with a big stack of papers next to him. You can also use the option to have the manual emailed to you for a nominal cost.
Best wishes.

Skip the cable, software and so on.
Get a card reader/writer. They are not very expensive, and can be bought at most stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, Officemax, Radioshack, and so on.
No software is necessary and the camera does not need to be used at all. Simply put the card in the reader and copy all files to the computer.

Trouble uploading photos from camera to easyshare on laptop

If your using a memory card card go out and buy a memory card reader. These plug into your computer and will download pictures onto your computer much faster than a USB cable attached to your camera. If all the pictures on your camera appear okay with a card reader you problem is solved.

Can not find out why it is that the USB connection won't work

Is this camera and its software from the Win98 era? If so it is likely the software is not compatible with XP patch not with standing. Go to Start/Control Panel' Add/Remove software and remove the Polaroid software. Restart the computer. Now simply plug the camera in and go to my computer- XP will put the camera up as another drive You do not need software to upload images in XP.
