let me start first by telling your the meaning of PUK code. It means "Personal Unblocking Code".

Just has the names personal implies, it means it is a personal code that now one else should know except you. So if I know the code then it means it is no more personal.

What I am trying to say is that the code can only be give to you by your service provider. Your service provider who are the manufacturers of the line you are using are the only ones that has the PUK code to your line.

You can get to your service provider through phone by calling them. Calling your service provider should be toll free.

Your service provider will ask you some questions concerning your line in order to confirm that you are the owner of the line before they give out the PUK code. The questions would be something like; "When did you make the last call on your phone?", "what was the last number you dialed?" etc. These questions varies from one service provider to the other.

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

The PUK code is a code associated with the SIM card and not with the phone.

You have only two ways to get rid of the PUK code. Either you replace the SIM card , or you call phone provider that issued the sim cadr (eg. At&T, Virgin, Tmobile , Vodafone, Telecom etc.)

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are linked to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.

To get your PUK code, if your phone is using a SIM Card, Check the SIM card Pack and you will see your PUK code there. But if you don't have a SIM card pack, you can get the PUK code from your service provider.

Call the customer care line of your service provider using another phone, request for your PUK code and it will be given to you. Note that your service provider will ask you some few questions about your line in order to be sure you are the real owner.

Note that your service provider alone is the only one that can give you your PUK code because it's only your service provider that has it.

The PUK & PIN codes are Security Codes that are on the SIM card. PIN( Personal Identification Number ) PUK ( Pin Unlock Key). when the PIN code in entred wrong the SIM automatically Blocks the PIN. to unlock the PIN you need to Enter the PUK. but if you enter the PUK wrong the Entire SIM is Locked.

The PIN Code & the PUK codes are Only Known by your Network Provider. you have to get in touch with them to get the codes. how ever if you have PUK blocked you will have to get a replacement SIM

Typically when a phone is asking for a PUK code it means you have tried to edit or set the secuirty pin code. Unfortunately these codes are already predefined by the sim card and the service provider. It gives you the sensation that you can set or change the code but you cannot. You get 3 attempts to enter the correct code after which the phone asks for a PUK code. When it asks for the PUK you also get three tries to undo it. Again PUK codes are predefined by the sim card and the service provider. If you call your service providers technical support number or customer service number they can provide you with the PUK or the PIN code.

a puk code is to do with your simcard meaning you have entered your pin wrong 3 times!ya will be able to get your puk code off your network provider!
