I have a rebel xti with a battery NB-2LH. The battery is new, and everytime the camera work for only 5 or 6 fotos and turn off !!! S.O.S. Is the battery?, I buyed one but no original model, and it was the same. Im trying to solve this problem now. Thanks

What is your auto shut-off set to? Does it come back on if you turn it off and then turn it back on? Or does it remain off? To save battery power, the camera turns off automatically after about 30 seconds of non-operation. To turn the camera back on, just press the shutter button. You can change the auto power-off time with the menu's Auto power off setting. Hope this helps

Camera is dead i think it p fuse gone from md board.
or camera is making battery drain everytime whe you insert battery.
There could be main pcb or md baord or battery box unit.

Problem with menu system maintaining display

I would highly suggest upgrading the firmware. Best thing to do first when having odd glitches like that.
