not transmitting it blows fuse. right>?
bad caps inside shorted too cause

assumes using right sized fuse. answers.
it does need service,
if blows only TX mode, antenna good.
the fuse needs more amps to TX 25times more
12amp min, 15amp fuse or 20.
one model said 15amp fuse. DR135, books on UK version not easy to find ask maker , they have vast manuals I see

Join yahoo group Specific to your radio Make/Model, Be as detailed as you can when giving them your queries. They have a wealth of info and you can download manuals, schematics and other goodies for your radio, if available and all this is free.

I hope you do resolve the blinking issue with your Alinco.

Which one is it? ALINCO or MOTOROLA?

DJ 596 indicates ALINCO, and they are two totally different radio makes. Alinco is a great Japanese brand, any way to get to your query....

I'm only guessing due to lack of info from you, that you've tried the volume controls on your radio?

If so, has this problem only recently occurred or has it been present since you got the set?

This is info we need to be able to assist you.

check your ht cpu,the cpu is the biggest chip,usually it located under led display
