How to change the battery in a casio 3321 - AW Casio Watches

Try the battery first. Make sure to do the all reset inside of the watch after changing the battery. If it is not the battery send it to Casio. They may change out the complete module.

According to their site, they don't want you replacing the battery. The battery is a silver oxide type, and the number is sr927W. You can find one with a google search. mcdevito75 here, Casio uses an LCD crystal, Liquid Display Crystal, during a battery change any, any un do pressure remopveing or replaceing the battery could destroy the LCD. Take my advise, with a casio watch, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for the battery change. I"ve ruined many of my casio watches during battery change.

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

Click on "search" and the download your instructions.

This is an old problem, but maybe this will help someone changing a battery on a Casio. Many Casio watches must be "zeroed out" by putting an pointed tweezers between the back of the battery and the AC terminal off to the side of the battery. On my old Casio Telememo 50, the AC terminal is in a very small hole just above the battery. On the Baby G force, it was in a wider opening, way at the edge of the watch. It has something to do with resetting the watches circuitry so it will operate again. Good luck!

Change the battery. This happened with mine along with the battery needing charging more frequently. In my opinion, Casio's assertions that you won't need to change the battery is pretty much of a joke. My jewler concurred.

After changing the battery I can now press the light switch button and the watch works normally.
