No picture on a Sony KV-32V65 TV

Hi, I have a Sony KV-32V65 TV. While watching TV, the picture suddenly disappeared, but the audio remained. I unplugged the power for several minutes and plugged it back on. When turning the TV on, I get a distorted picture in mostly half the screen for several seconds then it disappears but the audio remains functional. What could be the problem and how much could the part and labor to fix the problem cost? I appreciate all your help.

AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the Cboard, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking.

you missed the big part what size is it ? an 80 cm will run for $ 400 easy the smaller it gets the less they cost as they have been replaced by plasma and lcd but remember with people who like the old crt tv they pay a lot more for them in good order we can sell a 80 cm sony trin for above 5oo

TV does not power up. all we get is a red blinking led. Is there a fuse or something else simple to check?
It seems that the TV has an internal malfunction. The TV requires service.

My sony trinitron kv-32v65 has no picture - standby light blinking - sound works through the bose sysytem, just no picture - help
if you cant repair a tv take it ot a w/shop and have it checked. let your tech check that an ht voltage of 95-105 is reaching a line transistor, also a transistor be checked for leaks, also let him check a line transformer, and the surrounding tin capacitors for leakages and change of values.

Sony TV Toubleshooting Help
I had the same problem. Can't remember where, but I had to re-solder some joints. If you look very closely to the bottom of the motherboard, you might be able to see a cracked solder joint, otherwise carefully touch each one to fix it. Easy fix and the tv's been running flawless for going on 3 years now. 
Be careful to not touch anything on the high voltage side with your hands. Even with it unplugged.
