Sounds like its simply going into power save mode. Does your screen come back on when you move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard? Is the computer still on? Check your power options in control panel.

From what you are saying, the system is working and goes into screen saver mode and gets stuck.

Try turning off the monitor and then turn it back on.

Hello!

For this issue you might reconsider focusing on your CPU Tower, the way you're describing the issue, the monitor losses it connection from the computer, therefore showing the "analog input..." This is a power saving feature of your monitor. This means that the monitor is no longer a signal from your computer. Possible points of failure for this one could be, PSU, memory, motherboard or add on video card if you have one installed, best approach i could suggest is to run diagnostics- if your still able to boot the computer - Try powering up the computer, when you see the Dell logo tap F12 several times until you see some options then look for diagnostics, then run it..(this is for a DELL pc) if it fails then a possible hardware issue, if your pc still have warranty, call in for help.

Good luck!

Hope it helps!

Basically its telling you to change to the correct resolution. You may have it set too high. If you go into "Safe Mode" you should be able to bring it down. Or if worse comes to worse, uninstall and reinstall your video card. Just make sure to have the drivers available.
