Hi, Last night I cam home to find the kitchen sink full of dirty water. When I opened the dishwasher door I noticed that the same water was in the bottom of the dishwasher (and the dishwasher was switched off no one in the house remembers switching off??). The kitchen sink and dishwasher share the same waste pipe network and so I deduced that the pipes must be blocked. After about an hour I found that one the pipes was blocked with cooking oil that had solidified on contact with cold water. After cleaning the pipes and putting everything back together I ran the sink tap and the water now drained way fine so job done! I then switched on the dishwasher and it started pumping so I thought that was it, all fixed. However, after about twenty minutes I notice that the dishwasher was still pumping. When I opened the door I found no water inside but the pump was still pumping?? I tried switching the unit on and off, resetting it and I tried diffferent program settings. It still tries to pump water out?? Any ideas?? Thanks.

I carried on looking for a solution and found a site www.reviewcentre.com where they were discussing the same problem.
I did as this site described and it solved the problem. It was a post by a Neff/Bosch Service Engineer.
The problem is caused by water overflowing into the base of the machine after a pump malfunction and tripping a float switch which tells the pump to operate. This water lies below the pump so it will be unable to remove it.?????
The solution is as follows.
The Drainage pump will first have to be made operational by clearing the pump vanes or unblocking the outlet pipe so that when water is poured into the dishwasher it pumps it out.
To access the pump, first remove the filter and then the stainless cover. This will provide access to the T20 Torx screw, which holds the cover over the pump vanes. See page 38 of the Neff Instuctions. Remove this cover and clear the blockage if any. If no problem with the pump clear the outlet hose.
The water will still be in the base of the machine causing the problem.
Remove the cover from the front of the dishwasher.
Remove the steel cover at the bottom, it should be held on with 2 T20 Torx screws.
This is a bit fiddly but it comes off fairly easily.
If you look on the left hand side in the bottom of the base you will see the float switch.
If you push this down gently you will see it operate in the water. Please ensure you have switched the power off or removed the plug from the socket as there are a lot of wires in this area.
The best way to remvove the water from the base is by using a dishcloth and ringing it out. This is a bit drawn out but it works. Paper towels might disintegrate and be left behind causing more problems.
After draining out the water the switch will no longer be made and the machine will operate correctly.

Had the same probelm. Left the machine idle for a few days. By the time I found this solution, the water must have evapourated. The machine worked when I tried it. Underfloor heating probably helped evapouration. The original pump obstruction was caused by a piece or broken glass, so caution recommended when cleaning out the pump.
I have a NEFF S9LT1F dishwasher which the program is running as normal but there is NO WATER in the machine! I have already checked the water supply to the machine & it all seems fine. Could anyone help please?
I had this problem too, I found a brilliant solution on a website, that worked, just put some towels on the floor and tip the dishwasher towards you, let the water run out and it will work again.............brilliant !!!!!
