You can connect the Camcorder to a Computer using A/V cable if it does have an analog a/v input. Otherwise, you may go for a stand alone DVD recorder to connect the Camcorder and directly make DVDs from it.

now that the transfer is done, put the DVD back in and run through the menu options to finalize. If automatically finalizing is an option, you could do that next time you transfer a VHS to DVD. But this first one you can finalize after the fact.

there are some cleaning tapes available at the market. please check your local store. be careful when using them, read instruction manual not to harm heads due missusage.

no power - recharge battery or use power supply (might also battery broken)
tape stucked - ccd must be opened and cassette must be released manually (might also casette mechanism broken) this is service issue.

Are you trying to transfer the video to a computer to then burn to a dvd? Make sure before you put the disc in any other device, that the disc is finalized.
you will need an external dvd recorder to record vcr tapes to dvd. Sometimes you will have problems with quality when you do it this way. I have transfered vcr tapes to dvd with a transfer device using the computer and got much better results. If you need the name of the transfer device just get back with me and I will get it for you.
what kind of software are you using. I have had problems with this type of transfer and I had to use a special transfer device. If you want to know about the device write back and I will tell you how I did it.
Transfering shouldn't be a problem. But why transfer from your computer to a Flash Card (I'm assuming Compact Flash Card) to transfer to a DVD player? You could easily just transfer the images straight from the computer to a DVDisk so that it can play in a DVD player.
The first thing you should try is removing the batteries for 20 to 30 minutes to reset the unit. If this does not work push in on the cassette mechanism at the top while trying to eject. Also check the tape compartment cover screws to make sure they are tight. Any misalignment in the cover mechanism will cause binding which will create the problem you describe. Finally, and I know this will sound unusual, slap the unit on the cassette side. Forcefully but not enough to break anything. This procedure has been helpful many times with similar problems. I know it is not sientific but hey if it works. If none of the procedures solves your problems you may need professional help.
