Bluetooth conectivity problem

I have a verizon Samsung phone and a motorola bluetooth. Whenever I pair the two it works fine until after awhile I'll hear a beep noise in the bluetooth (like it's turning off) when not in use. Then after when I answer a call or try to use the bluetooth to make a call I get nothing but static. Also, when people call (sometimes) when I answer the phone they hear nothing but static on there end only. But I can hear them fine on my end which is weird. Then after about a minute it goes away and they can hear me again.
The one solution that always works is whenever I hear the bluetooth beep off on its own, I reboot the phone and it beeps back to where it's connected or paired again.
Why is this happenening? I tried to get another bluetooth thinking it was faulty and they all appear to do the same thing.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Please help!

SOURCE: no voice or sound

Did you check that you didn't activate mute?
If it is on mute. Press both volume buttons at the same time you will hear two descending audio tones.

there are a particular no of devices that could be paired
Pair your Verizon Motorola Droid 2 smartphone with a Bluetooth device using these steps:
1. From the Home screen tap Menu > Settings app.
2. Tap Wireless & networks.
3. Tap Bluetooth settings.
4. Ensure that Bluetooth is checked.
5. Turn the Bluetooth device on and set it to discoverable if required.
6. Tap Scan for devices.

Go to this site, and it will walk you through each step to connect your particular Jabra headset with your cellphone. Choose the headset, and then at the next page, choose your phone. Moving your mouse over each step will change the picture to what you should be seeing on your phone at each step.

Hi,

If you have lost the pairing on your phone with the headset follow these simple steps below:
• Setting the headset into pairing mode
1) Ensure the headset is fully charged
2) The headset must be switch off
3) Press and hold the on button for +- 8 seconds until the light flashes red-blue
4) The headset is now in pairing mode
• Searching for the headset on the phone
1) Go to “settings” or “connections”
2) Select Bluetooth, then options
3) Select Devices and click add
4) The phone should search for any available Bluetooth devices and display what was found
5) Select the Motorola device and click add
6) You will be required to enter in a pass code which is standard ‘0000’.
7) If successful then the headset will start flashing BLUE every few seconds.
8) If it’s a Samsung or Nokia phone you will need to “AUTHORIZE” headset on the device.

Blue Tooth Stereo Headphones and KRZR

From what I can tell and after researching the same issue it is the KRZR. I called both Verizon tech support and my bluetooth tech support.
There is no solution
If you notice some of the functions in the Blue tooth Pairing/connection menu functions don't even work. (The on off for instance and the settings) After it is paired. I tried my bluetooth with other phones and it works fine.
I am going to the Verizon store to complain untill i get a different model.

In short the KRZR software is defective
