When i switch on the WiFi it always shows "searching"....and after 5-6 mins it shows could not find access point.. I even have a wireless modem router & switch on its wifi....but it(cell's wifi) doesn't show anything.........plz help me.........it would be a great help.
Check weather any other device can detect wifi signal of your modem router. If it cannot detect the signal then it may be the complaint of your modem roter wifi.
If the other device can detect wifi of your modem router then back up the data of your phone and reset it. It will work fine.

You need to get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. The MMS service doesn’t always work between networks.

you will always pay whatever the networks charge for internet aswell and if you need settings either look on sony ericsson's website or your networks website

Guys i foun a solution for the problem.
Just enable content sharing and in the connection setting window in the browser set allow local connection, and then it will use the wi-fi . cheers
