Wireless keyboard and mouse

Most problem with the wireless keyboards and mice are one of them is not responding or not connecting to the wireless USB adapter that's connected to the computer, here are the things that you may do:

1. Make sure to use fresh batteries.

2. Verify if the keyboard and mouse are turned ON.

3. Avoid putting any possible wireless interference such as base of a cordless telephone and cell phones.

4. In pairing up the keyboard or the mouse, try pressing the connect button on the USB wireless receiver followed by the connect button on the wireless keyboard or mouse.

5. If that did not help, then hold down both connect buttons (on the wireless receiver and on the keyboard or mouse at the same time for five (5) seconds and then release them both).

The keyboard or the mouse should connect to the USB receiver. If same problem occur, then the device needs repair.

Insert the installation CD that came with your wireless keyboard set into your computer's CD-ROM drive.

Use the CD to install the drivers for the wireless peripherals.

Insert batteries into the keyboard .

Use a screwdriver to remove any screws that hold the battery bay covers closed.

Press the "Sync," "Connect" or "Pair" buttons on the keyboard , depending on your model.

Print screen

Observe the condition to ascertain condition. For example, connect the keyboard to computer to ascertain response. usually with peripheral devices, connections to computer should display results of compartibility else mesages is malfunction missing media recogniseable. In the situation that the keyboard is malfunctioning as missing media is indicationof incompartible to computer. For example, wireless keyboards require adaptors devices attached to computer to function where the computer has to be wireless compartible. In the situation where a cables wired keyboard were attached to wireless computer would be missing the adaptor. Where a wireless keyboard were attached to a computer that least wireless with an adaptors would least produce any results. Circumpectively, the computer with wireless capabilities requires a wireless adaptor that recognies a wireless built keyboard.

My wireless keyboard stopped working i have replaced batteries ,checked usb port ,device is recognised by pc,driver ok but wireless device not connecting witth keyboard

The keyboard may have lost connection with the wireless receiver. Take a look at the back of the keyboard. There should be a small recessed button located on the back. The button might be red and say "connect". Once you have found that button you will then need to press the connect button on the wireless receiver. After you press the connect button on the receiver it will be looking for the keyboard to transmit it's frequency. Now press the connect button on the back of the keyboard while you are close to the receiver. When you press the button on the back of the keyboard watch for any light activity on the receiver. You should see some when the keyboard connects to the receiver. After this the keyboard should be connected to the receiver and working properly. If you have a wireless mouse and it is also not working you can repeat the same process with it. It will also have a small recessed connect button on it.

If it does not connect you will want to verify that there is nothing near by that might be interfering with the signal like a wireless phone, baby monitor ect. Sometimes these devices can interfere with the signal.

Let me know if this works or if you have any other questions and thanks for using FixYa.

HOW DO I SYNC MY LOGITECH WIRELESS KEYBOARD TO MY PS3

I don't know if the PS3 will accept a wireless signal from the keyboard because it should've come with a bug that is connected into the pc so that you can even connect to your PC. I would use a USB keyboard just incase you do get your wireless connection and it corrupts your wifi connection or anything with the PS3.

Hope this helps ^^. Please dont forget to rate, Thanks

press connect on the wireless device...let go and then within 5 seconds press the button on the bottom of the keyboard. Repeat the same steps for the mouse whther its working or not. The problem usually is that the keyboard and mouse are on the same "Wireless Channel" and only resyncing them puts them on a seperate channel, hope this helps.

Belkin (F8E885) Enhanced Keyboard

That keyboard is not wireless, it is cabled to the computer. If you are looking h=to have your computer connect to the internet using wireless, you need to have a wireless access point connected to a cable modem or DSL, as well as a wireless network card in the computer.

Wireless mouse and keyboard

Push the connect button on the wireless base, then push the connect button on the keyboard or mouse, that is supposed to reconnect the device. Make sure the wireless base is close enough to the keyboard.mouse, and nothing metal is blocking the path between the keyboard/mouse and the base.
