You will need to log into your router with the IP Address, userid and password, then you can change the router password. Get online
and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Belkin
Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support).
Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating

You do realize that the Router Password just lets you get into the router to make changes to it.
The
Wireless Password is what allows people to connect their wireless
devices or laptops to the internet via the router. If you need to
change the wireless password then once you get into the router go to the
wireless tab or wireless security and change it.
The manual will
give you the router's IP address, default userid and password. Also it
might be on a sticker on the side or bottom of the router. The
wireless password or network key might be on it also.

The router's password can be changed by running the routers setup cd. If you do not have the cd:
1.Open your browser
2.In the address bar type in 192.168.1.1 this will bring you to your router configuration.
3.put in your username/password "If you forgot your username and password you can always reset your router, if that is the case your router will go to back to default settings,In order to reset the router look in the back of the router and you will see a reset button, press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, the reset button is located next to the Internet port on the router.
4. When your linksys router configuration is up, go to Administration.
