One of 2 things can do this, first unplug the unit from the power if it continues to fill then its the water fill valve thats bad, second if it stops filling when unplugged from the power outlet then its probably a plugged pressure switch line from the tub so the water pressure cannot switch the pressure switch diaphram from fill to wash cycle, open the cover and remove the pressure hose from the tub and blow into it and you will hear a click in the pressure switch its connected to,then replace hose onto tub side and blow into the other end of this same hose and make sure theres air movement in the tub as you will see and hear bubbling noise

Crosley Professional Washer. Why is my washer stopping at beginning of fill cycle?

Question edited for clarity. 'field cycle' to fill cycle.

Do you hear water running? Water inlet valve failed.

or

Taking too long to fill. Check the strainers in the rear where the hose connects and check water flow from the hose.

Also try a power disconnect overnight to do a power reset of the control board.

=============================================
If the cold water supply is slow or not entering the tub at all, the washer will stop ahead of the rinse cycle while waiting for the tub to fill. This can be caused by a clogged water inlet valve, the main water supply valve being partially closed, or low water supply pressure from the home.

My washer want stop filling up and when I should the machine off the water runs in the floor

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# FWS833A, will not stop filling. I see that you shut the machine off and the water runs onto the floor. I suggest shutting the water off at the inlet. From there I would contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why the water will not stop filling your washer. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Cold water won't stop before rinse cycle

if it fails to stop running only at the rinse part of the cycle it is probably in the timer as the solenoid valve has to cut the water off when the washer fills for the wash cycle too. fills for wash cycle and cuts off water, washes and drains, refills for rinse cycle and water just keeps running? does this every time you run it? that's in the timer. bad solenoid (water inlet valve) would keep running even on wash fill up. hope this helps.

Water will not stop running during cycle. the code says it water pressure but you have to shut off the water to make it stop

It could be one of two things. If the water runs into the machine even when the washer is turned off, you need a new water valve. If the water only comes in when called for then doesnt stop you need a new pressure switch and possibly a new pressure switch hose

Maytag top loadind washer. Won't stop filling up.

Make sure your drain hose to the drain pipe is higher than the water in the tub if not it will keep running and going out the drain.
Also try taking the hose off the level switch and blow in it to be sure it's not stoped up. If is it won't let the level sw cut off. air should go through it. Good luck
When you unpluged the power and it ddn't keep runing the water valve should be ok.

My washer will not stop filling with water and overflows

Turn the washer on and let the water run, while the water is running unplug the power cord if the water stops the inlet valve is ok but if still running the valve is bad and need to be replace if the pump is good you need to test the water level switch, if faulty need to replace.
good luck
