SOURCE: Why does the craftsman garden tractor model no.

I modified my John deere with a chute from another mower into my cart, It works great and picks up 10 times more trash than regular bags, you have to use the pick up blades, I just fill up the trailer, and dump the whole thing in the burn pile. Then go get some more. Believe me, i could run all day and not clean the whole yard. The pick up blades have some power but they do get clogged now and then, i just unhook it from the deck and dump it out and get going again. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Cut grass clippings does not get picked up by riding lawnmower

When using a bagger, you need correct blades on mower or Worn blades will cause the deck not to get the vacuum needed for the bagger to pickup.

SOURCE: my craftsman riding mower model917.274641 won't start

First, take the air filter off and spray a shot of carb cleaner/ starting fluid in the carb. If it starts for a second and runs on the prime then its a fuel issue. Check fuel filter, fuel delivery, and carb.

Attach bagger

ive got a JD 180 .with a bagger on it if you have the factory bagger
1st bolt bracket to back right hand side of tractor holes should allready be there next assemble bagger top to tractor bracket , hang collection bags (two) from top of bracket (open top to access) then assemble diverter tube all together three sections , snap end (wide) into bagger (no bolts needed) then fold back safety discharge cover on deck all the way snap the inlet adaptor into hole left by this (perfect fit) and last stretch rubber bungee up to deck wheel strut and place clip thru small moon clip there, now you willl need to replace your deck blades with the High Lift type (mulch) avail still from JD (theres a extra wing on back of it) this makes more air to scoot grass up the chute if not your gonna have a lot of cloggs

How do i replace the battery on my craftsman mower

You will need to remove the back bagger mount to get to the battery at the back base of the mower deck and the bagger mount is in the way.

Start at the side shoot and then work you way back to the bagger mount. The battery should be under the black cover.

The battery is located in the back cover between the rear wheels.

I hope this will help.

I just purchased a poulan xt 38" riding mower and am wondering if this is the correct bagger for this. My model # is PXT12538.

If your tractor is 2006 or newer then yes this is supposed to fit. This bagger will also fit some craftsman mowers.

Our craftsman garden tractor model no. 27603 doesnt fit a bagger!

ALL craftsman side-discharge tractors can accommodate a collector. If you can't get one specifically for your model, a universal one will fit.

It takes the form of a couple of plastic bins fitted to a frame that is mounted on the towing eye on the back of the tractor. A large diameter tube runs from an adapter 'boot' that fits over the discharge opening, to the bins on the back.

I'm in the UK, but we sell loads of these kits. SInce they come from the States, it shouldn't be a problem.
