When it is clean
Can you clarify the problem.. all I can see is
"My sharper image air purifier cleaning light comes... when it is clean"
The light that informs you that its in need of clearning comes on even though it is clean?
make sure the purifier is completely clean and reset it by unpluging it from the powersource for 30 minutes, the manual may include a reset process which might fix the problem.

To my understanding, what you require is to make the unit continuously operational, hence bypass the sensor and make the purifier think that the air still requires cleaning. If yes, pls post back the exact model number that a schematic diagram may be referenced and the said sensor identified. Alternately, you can visually inspect the filter and determine the sensor. The bypass is either jumping it or leaving its connection open.

The red LED is labeled "Cleaning Indicator" and it will only go out if the system detects that the grid and other components have been cleaned. Procedures for cleaning would include:
Additional information:pull the handle on top of the unit;
remove the grid (that is actually three metal bars that run through the length of the unit);
wipe the grid with a wet paper towel; or
put the grid under a stream of water;
The dust is not very easy to remove from the grid as it clings to it and requires several passes with a wet paper towel or sponge;
slowly flip the unit housing a couple of times (there are a couple of wires inside with little plastic spheres that move along the wires when you flip the unit, cleaning the wires);
wait until the grid dries and re-insert it.
Cheers.indication that the cleaning is due is the sound that appears when the grid gets too dirty/dusty. The sound is either humming or, more frequently, the buzzing sound similar to the electric device used to kill insects.

The cleaning light blinks on my sharper image air purifier when it is perfectly clean. How do I get the light to go off so the air purifier works again.
