Is your CD dirty or does it have any cracks? It might just be the problem. Otherwise, it could be corrupt game data. Clean the disc, if it still doesn't work I'd try deleting the game utility data and re-downloading it. Hope this helps in some way or another.

Unistall the game and reisntall it.if ur system meet system requriments then this problem will solve

what is the error code... possibly video driver problem.

First check to see if its Vista compatible if it is not then you can right click on the icon that you use to start it then select properties. Then select the compatiblity mode for Windows XP use this icon to load the game ...
