The site will appear as it is in web; subtitled as Service help to electronic home entertainment equipments.

Pull up older posts. You can get all details.

How do I fix bad static? Dell W3706MC 37 in. HDTV LCD has been fine and suddenly the sound has loud static on all sources. Is this a sound circuit failure?

Yes,loud static usually comes from bad isolation of sound signal path so it's probably a frayed cable or a loose jack. Or if you're unlucky some parts inside have failed.

Sreeching loud sound

How does it sound using external speakers? What is your signal source...broadcast, cable, satellite? Is the static continuous or does it fade in and out with voices (lips moving) and / or sound effects / music?

Blippy Sound

Sounds like the cords that are going into the PC/system have static. Remove the cords from the speakers and simply put your finger around the jacks to remove static. Push the cords and the jacks back in and switch on the speakers. Then twist the volume control, turning it up loud and then low, then loud and low again. That should cure the problem as it removes static that gets built up over time. Either that or your speakers could well be damaged.

Sound problems

I have had the identical problem from the beginning. It happens in humid weather. Unplug the set while it's on, wait a second, plug it back in, and turn it on. Sound should be fine.

Pioneer VSX-D85OS very loud static through speakers.

Its over heating no cheap fix. But wait if u buy an eternal fan n place it on top or behind it will do the trick. Try blowing on top when static happens n sound comes back on.
