Cleaning the Radio may fix it but what it sounds like is there is a lever inside that got jammed and you have to take the player apart to get it to work again.. Cheaper to get a new one

I got this issue with my 1995 Accord LX. Took months to get to the problem. It was two bad spark plugs, both plugs were misfiring - one at a time. But once awhile both plugs misfired at the same time and the radio "reset" - like it was turned off - no sound. (Gasoline smell too.) New plugs? Good luck.

Alot of your factory CD players will give you problems and codes such as the one you are talking about. Sometimes simply going out and buying a CD cleaner will solve the problem, but more times then not the motor that spins the CD goes bad and if thats the case nothing can be done except replacing the CD player. inside the player is eithor a set of gears or a belt drive eithor way you need a tesh to remove and fix the radio as they are not user friendly

there more like a new windows operating system if you screw it up you will have to buy a new radio

well i have a 1996 honda accord LX and i see no problems with it... parts are cheap on cost and the gas mileage is good.... 112,000 miles is VERY good for a honda ive seen up to 390,000 as long as you keep the motor and tranny in shape and keep them clean

there should be a load button some where on the head unit
what for it to indicate that it is OK to insert another **** then press load again
to change disk there should be a disk button
to eject the cd just choose what disk to eject eg cd 4 then press eject

were the lights working before?
sounds like a defective radio.
