Open your web browser and type in the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1 by default)

The default user id is: admin and the password is left blank. Once you get into the router go to the wireless setup or tab.

Below is a pdf manual of your router.

Need to enter code for roku

what's the exact model of the ROKU It will be asking for the wireless security pass code for your wireless router , I have a M1001 and you can set that up if known from the wireless configuration - after it asks for SSID - it then asks if security enabled say - yes and enter the code - IF you do know the code
Your Wireless signal may already be secured by the manufacturer and often the wireless code is printed on a label stuck to the router itself
IF not already set here is how you can see the wireless security code. Log into the setup of the router - to do that open a web browser, use Internet explorer (some routers setup pages do not work correctly with other browsers) In the browser address bar - type:
Different manufacturers use different default address to To access the Web-based Utility of the Router and log into the setup pages
DLink Type: http://192.168.0.1
A setup login screen should now appear requesting a user name and the password - use admin for both username and password - default setting for the d-link Now you can goto the wireless section or secruity section and see the type of encyption to WEP, WPA, WPA-PSK and the code used

Need to setup WiFi Protected Pin number

This router is like most routers and you must be logged in to the router as an Administrator, and once you have logged in (using http://192.168.1.1 ) with the login and password, go into the Wireless section and establish your network's name (SSID) and choose your security --- I prefer WPA-PSK[TKIP] for its relative simplicity. This, I believe, is your "protected Pin Number", and is needed to log in to the router with wireless access. Must be initially set up with wired access ...

Go to 192.168.0.1 in your browser, log into the setup page of the router. Under wireless set the SSID(network name), click apply, then go to security and set the encryption key, Click apply and log out. Then on your computer, if it is wireless, click on the wireless network icon, the when it shows your network, click connect . Then you have to put your encryption key in twice.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

Network security

Once you've logged into the router (open your browser, and type ONLY this into the Address line, without the quotes: "192.168.2.1). You should get a log in pop-up, "admin" is the username, and the password is left blank (or is sometimes "password"), again without the quotes.

Once logged in, you have a series of menus on the left hand side, Usually large blue lines demark each section, i.e. "Lan Setup", "Internet WAN", and of course the section you are looking for "Wireless". Under each header is listed each of the pages available for that function. For example, under Wireless you'd want the first 2 items: "Channel and SSID" - this is where you set the name of the wireless network; and "Security", which is where you setup whichever one of the Encryption options you want. This Encryption key is the password you will use when connecting wirelessly to the router from a PC.

Hopefully that is enough to get you setup.
