Keyboard issues and answers:A problem that is more common than most people think is an issue with buttons on thecontrol keyboards of modern TV sets.
Recently for whatever reason I have seen more questions about this so I have composed this answer and solution for these kinds of problems.
It can be any button on the set-channel up/down or volume up down-you name it.
The symptoms are the same: channel will scan up or down andwill not stop-remote control has no effect on this---It can be channel, volume,or even input or menu if the set has those up front or on the side of the set.
All these push controls have something in common-beneatheach is a tiny momentary push switch-when pushed with the plastic button itperforms a specific task (vol up or down etc.)

What happens is the afflicted switch beneath the plasticbutton is bad-when released it is supposed to stop its function but does not.
Keyboard or button controlled features have PRIORITYover the remote control, hence the remote will not stop this fromhappening.

Both the remote and thekeyboard go to the microprocessor in the set but keyboard is first in line.
How to resolve this issue?
Someone needs to get at the tiny pc board with the buttonsand locate the one associated with the issue (ie sound or channel etc) andunsolder that switch from the board-usually just two pins (may be more formounting only purposes) and then see if set does not have the issue with switchout of the circuit.
For the TECH minded with the board out test here theswitches with a ohm meter set to high resistance-any reading with button notpressed means a bad switch-seen ones that read 5,000 plus ohms-it may benecessary to unsolder more than one switch to locate the offender here but an open reading with switch not pressed is therule.
I have taken the time to compose this answer as some do notunderstand what is happening in these types of situations---No magic wand orsmoke and mirrors here-have to disable the offending switch to know.
The beauty (in my view) of this kind of problem is if found, you really do not have to replace anypart-just operate the set with the remote with one button that no longerfunctions on the set itself-who could ask for more?

SOURCE: scrolling lines in the picture

The capacitors in the sweep supply and maybe in the main power supply are starting to dry up. Your going to need to get a tech to go over the boards and search out the dryed capacitors. It will take some time and maybe a bit costly. May want to think maybe about a new set? Good Luck

Lg lcd tv keeps changing chanels

Come on, lets try to solve this. Take the batteries out of the remote so it can't interfere and try changing the channels and volume with the buttons on the tv. If this works then someone has spillled something onto the remote and gummed it all out. You simply need to take the remote apart and clean it out. If the buttons on the tv do th same as the remote did then yes, take it back.

Change from TV mode to AV mode for a Hitachi C28W4110SN

There should be buttons somewhere on the TV itself to switch input modes. Look around where the power button is located and see if there is a menu button you can access. Then use channel up/down and volume up/down to scroll thru modes to find input

Hope this helps

Scrolling

Sounds like it has one of two problems first one could be a stuck button. The micro locks up and the set wont come on also could be causing the channel scrolling run you finger along the channel buttons. Other than that you would need a new signal board you have a locked up micro...this part will be No longer Available.
