Set up channel 90 91 and 92. 90 is for S-video input, paired audio with composite video on 91. 92 is for input 2, composite and R/L audio. You need to enable them in the setup menu by manually tuning to 90/91/91 and then adding them.

How do i hook up the ps2 and wii

Assuming you have your cable or satellite hooked up to a component in, you can hook up either the Wii or PS2 to the other component input. The other will have to hooked up to the S-video input or composite. (Personally, I'd hook up the PS2 to a component in and the Wii to S-video as the Wii is only a standard definition game platform anyway.) Good luck.

Trying to hook up my wii to an very old model phillips magnavox

I think you have two options here:

1-Maybe your TV aux input is the type where the AUX channel is before channel 2, or after whatever your highest channel number is. If so, you can access that AUX channel by either going channel UP or channel DOWN.

2-If that doesn't work, maybe it's worth the $5 for a cheap universal remote, that you can program, and thereby access the TV INPUT mode.

Hope this helps.

Just press the input button on your remote controller until the screen comes up. Make sure you are plugging the RCA (Red/Yellow/White) cable into the standard input cables on your TV.

Bought a Wii and using the standard cables it played great on a new 50' Panasonic Plasma as well as on our 2 year old 32' VIZIO LCD. Just upgraded to a 46' Sony LCD (W series) and the Wii looks terrible...

The Wii can display on a HDTV, but keep in mind the output is only 480p. It is not true high definition, and it will only display this using a component video cable. There shouldn't be a difference with LCD and plasma.

You will also need to go to the display settings to force the Wii to display in 480p.

Try a different input (safe to assume your Sony has multiple?) and see if it is that specific input. Also, try a different device like a DVD player or VCR and see if you get the same result.

Good luck.

Installation of wii

I had the same problem on a 32" rca crt. It worked fine, power was cut during electrical work and when it came back, "unusable signal." I went into the menu, then channel, then video input source. had to change it to the correct input "s-video in my case" Then it worked. GOOD LUCK!

How can I use my TV as a computer screen

If it is a newer LCD or plasma TV it should have a VGA (PC) input on the back that you can use. Just buy a VGA cable and hook it up. If it's an older model, you'll need a video card for your computer that has a S-Video output. Then you can hook it up through the S-video or RCA inputs on your TV.
