Hello, i got a iPF610 with hardware error 03800500-2F2F and 03800500-2F30. It only comes by cleaning the printhead. Before i had those errors the printhead contact was bad and the message "insert printhead" was displayed on the front panel even though the printhead was installed. Then i carefully cleaned the electrical contacts and it doesnt help. After that i changed the carriage with flex cables and make all the required calibrations. After replacing the carriage the nozzle print pattern yellow was very brightly in the secound raster (but without missing nozzles) and a new printhead brings the same result. All other colors are good but only the yellow is clearly too bright. Every print is with narrow yellow touches provided. I changed the carriage again with the same result. please help me i dont know what to do right now... with kind regards, Marcel
03800500-2F2F/03800500-2F30 Head management sensor error
0014-0999
The head management sensor detected an ink discharge error.
A sensor sensitivity error was detected during head management sensor position adjustment.
Print head, head management sensor, or main controller PCB
1) Replace the print head.
2) Visual check
Remove foreign substances from the head management sensor if any.
3) Replace the head management sensor.
4) Cable continuity check
If continuity of the cable between the head management sensor and the main controller PCB is abnormal, replace
the cable.
5) Replace the main controller PCB

My cyan cartridge wasn't printing and nothing worked - until I tried Deep Cleaning 7 times in a row as suggested by HMlBarryLSal - it worked a treat, many thanks HMlBarryLSal

You may need new print heads. They are around $50. Or, you could do this: Take the print head out of the printer, and run warm water from the tap (not high pressure), over the ports for about 5 minutes. Ink will drop out of the jets. Dont touch the electrical contact end of this head. This may clean the head enough so it works again. If not you need a new print head.

You will have to do an external clean of the print head.
Remove the cartridges.
Remove the print head from the printer.
Be careful not to touch the metal contacts on the head.
Boil some water, pour 1/4" (6 millimetres) of water into a saucer.
Immediately place the part of the print head 'where the ink comes out' in the water.
Leave in there for 2 minutes.
This will clean any junk out of the holes.
Place the head on some tissue paper and let the paper absorb the water.
Do not rub the print head with the tissues!
Replace the print head back in the printer, replace cartridges and run the setup - alignment.
This works most times unless the print head is faulty...

It's likely that the foam pads that the print head rests on when the printer is not in use are saturated with ink. They're to the right as you look into the printer: a rectangular one for black ink and a square one for the colored ink. If you power the printer off and back on, with the cover open, you'll see where the printhead goes to rest.
The pads aren't easy to get at, but you can blot them with a paper towel. Gummy, half-dried ink dissolves in rubbing alcohol, and you can soak a paper towel or a cotton ball with alcohol and wipe down the area. I've had good luck soaking the pads with alcohol, then blotting them dry with a rag.

I have the same printer with the same exact problem. Even the same color being affected. Unfortunatly no solution. It sounds like we have to replace the very expensive printhead.
