My Equator Super Plus 500 Series Washer and Dryer with E8 error on panel. Just installed. What is it and how do I fix it?

Question edited for clarity.

E8 is a Dryer Malfunction. Unplug from the mains for a couple of minutes. Don't forget it is under warranty by the maker. If it persists, contact them direct. We are FIXYA, we aren't them and have no affiliation to them, just a category for handy filing.

Error 8 canon mp210

After trying various combinations I have found a HALF solution. Turn on as usual, wait for the E8 to come on then press the three front buttons simultaniously and hold for 5 seconds. You should now be able to use the printer as normal. I say its only a half solution because you will need to do this every time you switch on.

Canon mp 210

According to Canon you should:

1. Load paper correctly then press Black or Color button (MP210) 2. Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device 3. Remove Packing Material MP210 4. Reseat ink cartridge MP210 5. The MP210 may require repair
All steps can be done individually and if the error goes away the other steps don't have to be done. Hope this helps.
