At start of wash water comes in through 1st compartment of soap dispenser, then drum turns as normal. Then for main wash water goes through soap compartment but doesn't stop until code H20 flashes on display and then machine pumps out with orange light flashing and bleeping
Just need change water valve ..
Check to make sure that the water valves are open and water is getting to the machine.

problem may just be that drum is not turning so you think program is stopped. try cancelling and select spin program and see if you get spin

I have a fairly new Hotpoint Aquarius machine (out of guarantee).
When it is switched on, all of the red lights flash and it will not operate.

i had the same problem, the programmer inside the control panel had blown,
check the wiring hasnt pulled near the motor, sometimes an earth wire comes off apparently.

Same - there's a company in Denmark which does brushes - you have to hunt them down on the web. The brushes come in a brass slider and spring, and sit in a rubber cage. Make sure you don't throw away any bits of the old brushes as you might need to reuse the old rubber cage.
Another solution (if you have the rubber cage) is to move the brushes along a bit and bend the metal tabs on the brass slider. That will give you a contact again - the machine will work for a few weeks or so, which gives you time to order the new brushes.

See if you can locate a filter, and clean same.
