Panasonic DMR-EX77EB - HDMI output stopped working

My DMR-EX77EB has been working fine for a year then tonight, I'd paused a DVD and when returning to it there was no display. I switched to try the TV channels and still nothing. I connected the unit to the TV via S-Video and that's fine so it loks like the HDMI output has just stopped. Anybody had the same problem, or know a simple fix?

I just moved everything onto a new TV stand. Plugged it all up the same way and now the HDMI has not output. Changed the cables, TV socket etc. but that didn't work. I have gone back to a SCART lead. Any ideas?

I have DMR-75EB with the same problem. Was working earlier in the day. Switched on again and HDMI was not working. Tried cables but still blank screen. Went back to SCART connector OK. In setup "HDMI Video format, Aspect for 4:3, and Digital Audio out" all greyed out. Only Control with HDMI/QLink item available.

Just as described above. Set Two years old and switched on today and says HDMI in top left but blanks screen. Will output to Scart okay. Also lost all tuning and can't get it back.

My Panasonic DMR-EH55 has suddenly stopped outputting. Regardless of whether I am using the HDMI or component outputs, my Sony tv indicates "no signal". What kind of problem am I looking at?

Try it with another TV, perhaps a friend's or neighbour's. If the problem persists, consult your local Pana service centre or a competent technician

White colour displaying as pink on DVD recorder DMR-EX77EB, problem just started a few weeks ago.

Very similar problem with my DMR-EZ27. About 10 minutes into playing back a DVD the color starts going away until I only see a black/white movie. Sometimes color comes back in partially then back to b/w

How can I "PAUSE" while Copying from HDD to DVD on my Panasonic DMR-EX85 recorder?

Hi, Assuming the unit behaves much like a VCR-VCR dubbing setup you may be able to pause the DVD recordig on the fly simply by making sure the function is set to DVD and pressing PAUSE to start/stop recording
Hope this helps

Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-EX77EB says no signal but no problem with aerial TV says signal strength 5 no problem for over a year since bought new until now

I restarted 'Auto setup' this deletes the channel settings (which had presumably been corrupted) and re-installed them from the incoming signal.

The Panasonics are very picky about the media ie brand and quality of the DVD blank. Try a different brand and see if that helps.
