You should refer to your wireless router setup manual for pin number.... you can also prefer this link to search modem pin no-http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/home-solutions/connect/routers/dir-615-wireless-n-300-router
As far as I am aware, the only way to reset the pin, is to reset the router to factory defaults. You will then have to reconfigure your wireless settings. To reset to factory defaults:
Plug in the router.
1. Locate the small reset button. It is next to the power jack.
2. Use something to push the button, a paper clip works well.
3.Hold the reset switch down for 10 seconds.
4. Wait for the WLAN light to stop blinking. The router is now reset.
To reconfigure the settings on the router, enter 192.168.0.1 into your browser address bar.
The PIN number could be the passphrase or encryption key code that is in the router's wireless settings. Go to the wireless router settings for this info.
If you forgot your wireless password you can log into the web interface and click wireless, then wireless security. If you forgot the router password, the best solution, and this goes for all routers is to locate the reset button (usually a small pin hole on the back of the router). Unplug the router from the power supply and press and hold in the reset button with a paperclip or pen tip. While holding the reset button, plug the power back into the rear of the router and continue holding for 10-15 seconds then release. This ensures that the router is reset to factory defaults and then you can login with default username and password. Hint: usually admin is the username and the password is left blank.
pin number or password. the password for the router for administration is admin and admin.... for security you may wish to change them. the pin number is likely for connecting to a secure network. it may actually be on a label on your router or you need to sign into your router to obtain it. first you need to hook into the router with a network cable from your computer to the router. open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1 the hopefully the default password wasn't changed (or you know it) once you have signed in find the tab for wireless security. your code/pin should be in the second tab of the submenu
I have had this problem. Go to the website and get the free phone number and ring them. They were able to help me (twice as I forgot after the first time).
