If i but my sim card in the phone tels me that its a unknown sim but if I but the sim to another pohne .. works like a charm .. how can I make my nokia n73 to recognice my sim card.. and it tells it everytime whit a different sim card..
Please off the "Confirm SIM Service" from your phone setting. Then use the SIM Card.
Possible that the phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.

dont that already... whit rvery sim card it tels my that unknown sim. like it cant conect to tehe service provider or something like that and today I looked that it was in the black list. Black list = lost or stolen phones.
I didnt bought it .. I found it in a bar.. but i wold like to use it.. I know its hard to disable it on N series but its doneble
