Because I worked at home depot, ace hardware and selling furniture. I would use a STAINABLE wood filler if it was stained. Then use BACK POLYSHADES! If it was painted, then just ordinary wood filler will be fine. Be sure to have the paint match in color and in sheen! Usually the leg can be taken off just by turning it to the left. Good luck.
There are a few things you want to determine when pickingout an accent chair? What is the space you want to fill? How many peopledoes it need to accommodate? Will your color scheme benefit from theaddition? Do you want it to create adivider? Do you want it to serve apurpose other than as a seat?
An accent chair is mainly used to provide additional seatingin a room and tends to be colorful and upholstered. There are two idea behind them: they can be used to create a second seatingarea within or room or to accentuate a color or concept.
