SOURCE: linksys wrt 120n connected but can't browse

Check your computer's browser settings, make sure it's getting valid IP address, try pinging a website and check your IP settings under network connections.

Disable any third party firewall software you have installed.

Hope this helps!

Linksys router not recognize internet

Make sure your router's WAN port is set to dynamic IP. If the light on the front doesn't glow/blink for the WAN port, try a different cable. If a different cable doesn't work it's probably toast. :( This problem appears to be directly linked to the relationship between the WAN port and the modem. Given that the devices can connect to the router, but not internet, it has to be the WAN. Sometimes if the modem goes out it will send too much voltage through to the router and fry the WAN. Had that happen to my parents router. If the above doesn't "fix ya" then try a different router.

Worst case, you might have to put a wireless card in your PC and bridge the modem (wired connection) to the wireless card and broadcast for your wireless devices. At least until you get a new router.

Router does not show wireless light. I have reset it but can't access it with the setup wizard. Any suggestions?

* NOTE: If you tried to set-up the WRT-150N Router previously, but failed, with the Router ON, press the "Reset" button on the back panel and hold it down for 10 seconds, then release. This will reset the Router to factory settings and erase all previous data.
then do this :
1. Hook up the Linksys WRT-150N Router to the Modem via a LAN cable.
2. Hook up the Linksys WRT-150N Router to your computer via a LAN cable with the LAN cable in Port #1 on the Linksys WRT-150N Router.
3. Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your web browser.
4. Log-on to the Linksys WRT-150N Router with these log-on credentials:
Username: linksys (lower-case)
Password: admin (lower-case)
5. Click on the "Clone PC MAC Address" tab.
6. Click the "Clone PC MAC Address" button.
7. Click "Save", click "Continue".
8. Click the "Wireless Security" tab.
9. Choose "WPA2 Personal - TKIP/AES" for encrypted security.
10. Enter encryption password (passphrase).
11. Click "Save", click "Continue".
12. Exit the web browser.
13. Disconnect the LAN cable from the computer and Port #1 on the Linksys WRT-150N Router.

Hey guys could i use my router as a radio to pull the internet signal from a next router without using any cable

With the Linksys router it is not possible. You will need to connect the cable between the two routers. Linksys router will not pick up the wireless signal from the other wireless router.
May be it will work If you upgrade the DD-WRT Firmware. Not sure but it may. consult with the DD-WRT expert before upgrading the firmware.

Linksys WRT150N

There is always a wireless option on your router. Check to make sure that your wireless is turned on and that you arent blocking your wireless signal with a WPA personal passcode.
