Not detect dvd - Orion TVDVD092 9 in. TV/DVD Combo

check your CD/DVD driver is properly installed. you can check it by going in control panel, Clean your CD/DVD drive by any Cd/DVD cleaner.

If you have some experience in opening up the PC. remove the main cover & unplug the power connector & the Data Cable from the DVD Drive. ( the conputer power has to be switched off) Replug back the cables as it were & start the PC.

It should detect by now

just try to reinstall the DVD software

oh my frd...it happens bcoz u could hav burned u r cd in data files format...wch will not detected by the cd player...cd player detects only the mp3 formats...so nxt tym u burn a cd check whether the option wch u given s mp3 format for audio files...and main thing is that check whther u burned a CD or DVD...bcoz CD player will not detect DVD...a DVD player can detect CD whereas CD player cant detect DVD disc my frd!!!!

Dissamble the dvd rom from pc. Open it and clean the laser with a soft cloth or try a dvd lens cleaner disk. You can buy it from any hardware shop. Connect the cables correctly. Start with a fresh dvd disk. If your pc still can't detect dvd disc, replace dvd rom with a new one.

first u just open ur cpu &and then re-inserting ur dvd pin's in cpu.
after u start ur pc. ok...bayyyy......

The first thing you shouldnt do is to open the Drive !
If you open it and clean the lens.. That is BAD NEWS buddy.
You can open it, BUT DO NOT TOUCH THE LENS OR CLEAN THE LENS. Because the lens is very super sensative. Our hands has oil which is hard to notice.

I need to know what type of dvd drive you have...

Here are some tips which you can try :

a) There can be a problem with OS you are using. Try differnet ones.
b) There can be a volt powering problem with your power supply to your DVD combo Drive.
c) You might not have the installation drivers for your dvd drive, install them,
you can find the drivers in the DVD webpage.

me too have the same problem with samsung dvd combo drive.. no medicine fo it....

There are many causes one a slow processor speed ( even by pentium III 933mhz stuttered when i was playing divx) two needing to update the dvd software . Third the lense being dirty spay compressed air into the drive.

You need a DVD Player to play your dvd video. Even if you have a dvd drive but you don't have a dvd player on your windows it is impossible to do it.
