Motor buzzes, fan does not move, blade does not move, blade is clear of obstruction

I was cutting for about 60 seconds when it sounded like a jambed blade. I cleared the blade. Motor made noise but no blade action. I loosened nuts on blade, tried to move blade with screwdriver. Motor makes buzzing noise but blade does not move. Should I remove blade completely? Heck, might as well. Nothing else is getting done with this thing sitting on the sidewalk.

Removing blade will not do it - there has to be an obstruction in the drive mechanism that prevents it from turning. Leave off till fixed lest you risk burning out the motor completely. Turn on AFTER you can turn the blade freely.

SOURCE: noisy, blade seizes, used two hours

Sorry but there is no help for this equipment. Remington went bankrupt and i have not been able to get parts.
Plus they,in the past, considered this a throw away unit.
Sorry for the news.
Good Day.

Should I replace the fan in my GE refridge Model GNE25JSKKFSS, after leaving the freezer drawer ajar over night?

It's possible that the fan blades are hitting ice, frost, or debris, causing the noise. The fan might also be struggling to turn if there's any obstruction or if it's damaged

When blades engaged husquana makes screeching sound and cuts off

Model ? Comment below.

Check there are no obstructions in the deck and blades move freely when belt is loose or removed.

Check there is proper deck belt tension. See operators manual.

If no obstructions and blades move freely then could be a failing seat or PTO switch causing unit to misdetect an operator not presence state.

There is a buzzing sound coming from the laptop and i do not know if it is the fan or the hard drive. please help

If the sound you hear is buzzing as you put it, it usually comes from the fan. Turn off your unit and try using a blower and aim it at the exhaust vents. This should clear any obstructions like accumulated dust at the fan blades.

Hello, we have an RSW2400E. We recently moved and took our refrigerator with us. We left the refrigerator off for 24 hours and then turned it on. The refrigerator does not get very cold and the food in...

This sounds like someone may have knocked the condensor fan motor connector loose or bent a fan blade on the condensor fan in the process of moving it. Open the back of the unit and check the fan blade to see if it turns freely. Clear any obstructions. If there are no obstructions check the connector on the condensor fan motor. The key here you said it was working pre move and post move this statement is a dead give-away for a condensor fan problem: The panel that splits the refrigerator from the freezer is extremely hot. You can most likely fix this yourself.

Temp is rising and fridge is making noise

the problem lies with your evaporator fan motor, ice is forming underneath the fan blade, and as one customer told me, it sounds like a helicopter. when this fan stops altogether, no air flow to fresh food section is a result.
the cause could be the fan motor itself is bad, or if there is ice underneath the fan blade, the defrost drain is clogged with ice. after clearing the drain, i would highly suggest putting a defrost drain heater, to prevent ice build up in drain,, from obstructing fan blade. Air Conditioner Compressor Fan Quit

Check the start capacitor. You may be able to see visual deformaty, otherwise, use a meter. The buzzing is most likely the contactors closing which uses a seperate 24v supply..

Buzzing sound

a loud buzzing sound it is probably a faulty control/timer module.

If the appliance works the same, you can keep it like this, if it still under guaranty, call the number listed on the owner manual to get repair.

If you got the sound only recently, that means that the control is going to fail soon, in that case call a repairman and have the control assembly replaced.
