I just set the all in one up and it has been performing fine for me. However, I attempted (repeatedly) to scan a 58 page document and the machine stops at different points in the process with a "Power Reset" error message. No rhyme or reason as to why this is happening. I have gotten almost all of the way through scanning the documents when I get the error message, it's happen only scanning 10 pages of the 58 pages......or anywhere in between. I've turned the machine off, unplugged from the back and then restarted, but with no success. Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

You can preview a scan and adjust to whatever size you need by moving the dotted lines around the scanned image. Once that is determined you can rescan the doucument with the revised settings.

SOURCE: Scanning multiple pages as a single document
The pages you scan in are each individual "pictures" which are very different than the text in the everyday word processing file. What you can do is to make a new word processing document and insert each of the scanned pictures into this new document in order. This will allow you to print all the pages in one job by printing the word processing document. As far as I know there is no way to scan all of the pages into one single file.

scan in all the pages and search the Internet for a DPF creator software. or you can go to adobe.com and get the PDF creator (no free) that should enable you to save the document as one PDF file.

I had to disconnect a computer today because it got a virus. World Care donated 3 computers to my group home, so I was lucky to have this other computer. Now it say's 'No Scan Options.' It was a royal pain just getting the silly thing connected! It prints, but won't scan.
Prints documents fine...tested the fax and it came out negative, but when attempting to scan, copy, or attempt to fax, there is no response from the scanner lamp or the quick scan function on top of the device.
I have no clue what's wrong, it just happened suddenly...
