Need directions for fridaigre self cleaning oven

To Self-Clean: 1. Close the oven door. 2. Move the door lock lever to the right to the locked position. 3. Press CLEAN. 4. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pad. CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) appears in the display. If the door is not closed, beeps will sound and "door" will appear in the display until the door is closed and the Clean pad is pressed again. If the door is not closed within 45 seconds, the self-cleaning operation will be canceled and the display will return to the time of day. If more than 5 seconds elapse between pressing the Clean pad and the "up" or "down" arrow pad, the program will automatically return to the previous display
5. To choose a clean setting other then Medium, press the "up" or "down" arrow pads to scroll through the self-cleaning settings. CL-H (Clean - Heavy soil, 4 hours) CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) CL-L (Clean - Light soil, 2 hours) Choosing a cleaning level automatically programs the selfcleaning time. 6. After 4 seconds, the oven will start cleaning. "LOCK" and "CLEAN" will appear in the display. The cleaning time will count down in the display. To Delay Start Self-Clean: Before delay starting Self-Clean, make sure the door is closed completely or it will not lock and the cycle will not begin. 1. Press DELAY. "DELAY" will flash and "00:00" will appear in the display. 2. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pads to enter the amount of time you want to delay the cycle. Delay time can be set from 10 minutes (00:10) to 11 hours and 59 minutes (11:59). 3. While "DELAY" is flashing, press the CLEAN pad. "CLEAN" will flash in the display. 4. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pad. CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) appears in the display. 5. Hi robertkbrown...you may want to try to following steps.....good luck my friend...chris If ?LOC DOOR? is flashing in the display of your range or oven, and the self-clean cycle has not been selected, follow the steps below to reset your control: Motorized Switch 1. With the door open, locate the door jamb switch on the face of the oven. It will look like a small black post or dowel. 2. Push it in until the oven cavity light goes off, indicating that the oven believes the door is closed. 3. While you hold the door jamb switch in this position, complete the following steps. 4. Press the Clean pad, wait 10 seconds. 5. When the cycle initiates, press the clear/off or cancel pad immediately to cancel it. 6. Wait 10 seconds for the display to clear. 7. The door should unlock and there should not be a need for service. Manual Switch 1. Press the Clean pad. 2. Close the door. 3. Slide the latch to lock the door. 4. Hit the cancel button immediately. 5. Unlock the door.

First take out the racks (unless they are coated with the same porcelan coating as the oven interior). Press the Clean or Self-Clean button. Press up or down arrow key - 3:30 will show in display which represent time in hours and minutes. You can press the up arrow key for more time, or the down arrow key for less time, but usually the default time is good. Then just press Start. The door will lock and the oven will turn on. In 3 1/2 hours the oven will turn off, but the door won't unlock for another hour.

I understand that you are looking to run your self-clean feature on your Frigidaire range, model# CFEF366EMB.

-To start this you will remove all racks and make sure that any excessive spillovers are cleaned up as best as you can.
-Next you will press the "Clean" button, and the display will show "---".
-Press the up or down arrows to select the length of time you want the oven to clean. Usually 2 or 3 hours.
-The door will automatically lock once your time has been chosen and the "LOCK" indicator light will flash. DO NOT open the door while the light is flashing. (it takes about 15 seconds for the oven door to lock).
-"Cln" will appear in the display during the self-clean cycle and the "LOCK" light will continue to glow until the self-cleaning cycle is complete or cancelled and the oven has cooled.

When the self-clean cycle has completed:
-The time of day or "END" will appear in the display window and the "Clean" and "LOCK" light will continue to glow.
-Once the oven has cooled down for about 1 HOUR and the "LOCK" light has gone out, the oven door can be opened.
-If "END" is in the display and the Clean indicator light remains ON, press the "CLEAR/OFF" button and the time of day will appear on the display.
-When the oven is cool, wipe away any residue or powdered ash with a damp cloth or paper towel.

Hello - Before using the self-cleaning cycle of the appliance, remove the broiler pan and any utensils stored in the appliance. Also remove any excess spillovers in the oven cavity. Allow the oven to cool before cleaning. During the self-cleaning cycle, the outside of the wall oven can become very hot to the touch.

Typically to set the controls for a self-clean the first step is to confirm that the clock shows the correct time of the day. Press CLEAN. "---" appears in the display. Press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW once. "3:00" appears in the display for a 3 hour cycle. To change to a 2 hour cycle press DOWN ARROW"2:00" appears in the display. As soon as the controls are set, the motor drive lock will begin to close automatically and the "LOCK" indicator light will flash. DO NOT open the oven door while the light is flashing (it takes about 15 seconds for the over door to lock). "CLn" will appear in the display during the Self-Clean cycle and the "LOCK" light will glow until the Self-Cleaning cycle is complete or cancelled and the oven temperature has cooled.

When the Self-Clean cycle has completed, the time of the day or "End" will appear in the display window and the "Clean" and "LOCK" light will continue to glow. Once the over has cooled down for about 1 HOUR and the "LOCK" light has gone out, the oven door can be opened. If "End" is the display and the Clean indicator light remains ON, press CLEAR/OFF. The time of the day will appear in the display.

If it becomes necessary to stop or interrupt a Self-Cleaning cycle, press CLEAR/OFF. Once the oven has cooled down for about 1 HOUR and the "LOCK" light has gone out, the oven door can be opened. Restart the Self-Clean cycle once all conditions have been corrected.

The control lock has been activated. This feature is useful when you are cleaning the panel so that you don't accidently start the oven or the self-cleaning cycle. Try pressing Bake and Broil Hi/Lo together for 2 seconds (or a bit longer). SF should appear in the display. Then press Self Clean and Start. (When you press Self Clean the LOC message should disappear.)

CLEAN PAD
Use to set a self-clean cycle or a delayed
self-clean cycle. One press of the Clean
pad sets up an immediate clean cycle. A
second press of the Clean pad sets up a
delayed clean cycle.
• Clean oven
frame, door
frame (area
outside of gasket)
and
around the
opening in the door gasket with a nonabrasive
cleaner such as Bon Ami*. These
areas are not exposed to cleaning temperatures.
• Remove air grille.
• Remove oven racks. If racks are left in
during a clean cycle, it may impair function
and they will discolor. Turn off the
oven light and close door.

TO SET FOR IMMEDIATE START:
1. Press Clean pad once.
2. Press the Auto Set pad for 3 hours of
cleaning time, press again for 4 hours
and again if 2 hours of clean time are
desired.
3. CLEANING and LOC plus the clean
time will appear in the display.
4. When the clean cycle is complete,
CLEANED will be displayed. LOC will
remain on until the oven has cooled
(approx. 1 hour).
5. When the oven is cool, LOC will no
longer be displayed and the door may be
opened.
6. Wipe out the oven interior with a damp
cloth. If soil remains it indicates the
cycle was not long enough.

TO CANCEL SELF-CLEAN:
1. Press Cancel pad.
2. If LOC is NOT displayed, open oven
door. If LOC is displayed, allow oven to
cool.

self-diagnostic routine:
1.While pressing the CANCEL keypad:
a) Open the oven door.
b) Unplug the microwave oven for 2-seconds and plug it back in.
c) Release the CANCEL keypad and close the oven door. You will see the following display.
CHART
NOTE: The humidity sensor test results will appear on the display after 8-seconds.If the tests are successful, "OK " will be displayed. If one or more of the tests fail, "ERR " will be displayed.. 2.When a keypad is pressed, a number according to the test chart will be displayed. When no keypad is pressed, a blank "?" is displayed...
F6 ?Microwave Relay Failure: Check the microwave relay.

Of course - Empty the oven and clear off around it.

The AUTO-CLEAN cycle time is adjustable, from 2 hours
30 minutes and 4 hours 30 minutes in 15-minute increments.
Suggested clean times are 2 hours 30 minutes for light soil and
4 hours 30 minutes for heavy soil. The last 30 minutes of the
cycle is for cool down.
To Self-Clean Using AUTO-CLEAN
1. Press AUTO-CLEAN.
2. Press the TEMP/HOUR “up” or “down” arrow pad to set the
desired self-clean cycle time.
3. Press START.
The oven door will automatically lock. The “DOOR LOCKED”
and “CLEAN” indicator lights will be displayed. The time
remaining will also be displayed.
4. When the self-clean cycle is complete and the oven cools,
the “DOOR LOCKED” and “CLEAN” indicator lights will turn
off.
5. Once the oven is completely cooled, remove ash with a damp
cloth.
To Delay Start Self-Clean Using AUTO-CLEAN
1. Press AUTO-CLEAN.
2. Press the TEMP/HOUR “up” and “down” arrow pads to set
the desired self-clean cycle time.
3. Press START TIME.
4. Press the TEMP/HOUR “up” and “down” arrow pads to set
the desired start time.
5. Press START.
The oven door will automatically lock. “DOOR LOCKED” and
“CLEAN” indicator lights will be displayed.
6. When the self-clean cycle is complete and the oven cools,
the “DOOR LOCKED” and “CLEAN” indicator lights will turn
off.
7. Once the oven is completely cooled, remove ash with a damp
cloth.
