After reading through the archives of related problems, I decided to try some of the suggestions. Here is what I did for my LG Shine...I checked the sd card on the computer to make sure all the data i transferred was on the card and it was. After that, I use the music player on the cell phone to load the music into my library and was able to listen to the music stored on the sd card.The music which was downloaded to the sd card will only play through the music player on the cell phone and for the ringtones I went to the website and made my ringtones. http://makeownringtone.com/ This is the fool proof way of making your favorite songs your ringtone. Follow the instructions giving and in under 3 mins you can make your ringtone. The ringtones have to be under 300kb and in the mp3 format. Its really simple and easy to use and downloaded them to my computer. Hint of advice: email it to yourself that way you can forward it to your friends and family. Might I remind you that its FREE!!!!
ENJOY ;-}

I just got an LG ENV3. I removed my MicroSD card from my LG Scoop and placed it in the new phone however none of my pics or music showed up. I know they are on the card because when I pulled it from the...

This is Jon from THE CELL PHONE GUY in Sioux Falls SD, this issue is a formatting issue for your sd card its usually not a problem when you go from a LG to another LG but i can see it happening. The best way to do it without loosing all your data is to sync your Scoop up with your PC and transfer all your data to your computer off the SD card. and Then do the Vise Versa with your Envy 3 sync it to your PC and transfer from the computer to your phone. Make sure that after you put all the data from the scoop to your pc that you put the sd card in the envy and make sure you go into the memory settings and format the card to the envy. This will delete all the data on the card but luckily you should have already put all that on your computer. after the card has been formated then connect the computer to the envy and transfer the data back. This should be the best way to do it without loosing any of your data.

I am not getting the music for the sd card to play on the mp3

you have to make sure that the music is in the right format and you have to open the music in the music player menu. i have my songs in wma format and they work fine. also if your phone is not recognizing the sd card then perhaps its an sd card that is not supported by the lg shine. read your manual there is a specific type of card you can and cant use on that phone. the card i have is a sandisk 4gb microSDHC

Neeeeeeeeeed help

hi there
it is better to
--> take the memory card out of the phone
--> put in the laptop (sd card slot) if you have one
--> if not
--> put the memory card in "all-in-one card reader
and formate it through laptop/pc
--> select 'FAT' option instead of 'FAT32'
--> click ok
--> it will give you warning 'data will be lost'
--> click ok
--> take memory card out
--> put it back in the phone
--> turn the mobile on
--> your phone is ready to go

hope it will work for you
