Getting spark been sitting for a year wen u first try cranking it over it trys starting then i try again n it just cranks n crank what could b the problem?

Inject some carb cleaner spray through the opened air filter while cranking.
Spark plugs work? timing on the camshafts ok?
Crank it without turning the throttle on.
Pull the choke cable if you need to.
It should fire up without throttle.
Use the carb cleaner spray to help it (don't spray too much.It will backfire from the carbs).

well here goes your problem probably in the float bowl area water sediment blocked low speed jets if you do not want to do a complete tearmore down just clean the jets and float bowl.
Use a carb cleaner soak the jets make sure you can see through them the small low speed jets specially.
if you have access to air blow the jets clean.
spray any passage ways with carb cleaner reassemble good luck.

clean the points as well, they may have got muck on them? or even stuck up? how good is the battery?,,, it may crank the bike over but how much power is left for the spark plugs to fire up on? i take it there is petrol getting to the carbs? try this out take a good plug stick a plug lead on it hold it down hard on the head of the bike and spin the motor up, if you got a spark you will see and hear it,,,ps,,get your mate to do the holding down bit (he, he, he,?????)

have you checked that you have compression? remove the spark plug and put you finger over the hole and try starting the bike your finger should be pulled into the hole
and how old is the fuel? it starts to break down after a few months
