My Class C Farmall tractor has been sitting all winter, and it is time to put it to work. It turns over plenty fast, and it seems there is gas going to the carburetor. But it never fires. I am definitely not a mechanic, but I am willing to try anything. Where do I look to solve this problem? What kind of diagnostic can I do? Carburetor? Electrical? Any ideas on what to look for will be appreciated. Thanks, jay
Take a plug out connect the HT lead to it and ground the body to see if there is a spark
spark ok go to carby
no spark look at ignition switch , wiring coil , distributor , points , condenser
carby , -drain the fuel from the bowl and clean out the main jet
check for fuel from the needle and seat, check that the tap is passing fuel and not corroded inside and the fuel lines are not blocked

Remove valve cover, bring #1 cylinder top dead center, make sure both push rods are loose, put you dist in and were ever your rotor is pointed that will be your number one wire.then you will have to adjust you timing when started by ear,I hope this helps you

I think you still have a fuel issue like your float level is to low,I hope this helps you
SOURCE: I have a farmall super a and I was mowing when it
First check and see if the rotor is broke if not check your points, you can file them But i would put a new set in with a condensor,I hope this helps you and thanks
