I just bought this machine and hooked it up today and as its in its cycle and adding water to the load, water comes back out of the hot hose side. I have never seen this before nor understand how its possible. Since I mostly use cold water I routed the hot hose into the drain. By I need to know Why?
You have a hot , cold and a mix valve ,I would suspect that the mix valve is stuck, try tapping on it

Check the tap is turned on
if not fix
turn off taps, check the lint screen inside the hose end (tap connector end) is not blocked
if not fix
check cable connections on cold water solenoid valve inside rear of case
if not fix
replace cold water solenoid.
cold water solenoid valve fails more often than hot, is used on every cycle so bnurns out first.
unplug washer and turn off water before checking cables or replacing solenoid.
solenoid is cheap, common to many washers local parts guy will have one that fits even if it is labelled ge frigidaire kenmore

the fill hoses are backwards,,,reverse fill hoses...on the job...also your under warranty ..call for service but you can do it your self..

The water fill valve - The water fill valve is a mechanical and electrical part, the coils on the valve need electricity to mechanically open the valve to allow the water to flow into the washer....myth....the washer pumps water into itself...no, it does not. The fill valve opens and the house water pressure pushes the water into the washing machine.
No cold water or no hot water - The fill valve has two coils, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. It is possible that one of the coils can fail and you loose that filling ability. If the cold water coil quits, the hot will still work and during warm fill you will get hot water only and during a cold fill you will get no water at all. If the hot coils quits, you will still have cold water fill, cold water only on a warm setting and no water on a hot fill setting. You can test a fill valve live for 120 volts, power to a fill valve coil and no fill = a bad fill valve. You can also test the coils for continuity, no continuity = a bad fill valve. Some Maytag washers have a fuse in the fill valve circuit, if this fuse let go the washer will not fill. Fill valves can also from time to time stick open and not stop filling. If you have to shut off the fill valves to stop the water from filling in the washer, you have a bad fill valve and you will have to replace it.

Is there water in the bottom of the tub? If yes then open back of washer and remove drain pump (on left side) and pull off of tub and clear whatever is blocking its impeller.
If the water is all gone and drained but pump stays on for several minutes and then gives "LD" fault then open back and check the small clear tube that is attached to the tub. Make sure is not blocked with debris and check tube and tub for anything that could block the small clear tube. If these are ok then remove 3 screws in back of the control panel, pull open control panel and check the clear tub all the way up from the tub to the washer controller board (computer) make sure it is not kinked or disconnected. If not then the problem is most likely the pressure sensor on the (computer). This unit will have to be replaced.
You can test the sensor by doing the following: 1. When the "LD" fault comes on start by pressing the pause button. then pull the clear tube off of the computer board. Then attach a tight fitting drinking straw over the sensor. Press the start button and wait for 60 seconds - If the washer does not start the spin cycle on its own after the 60 seconds then **** on the drinking straw that you attached to the pressure sensor earlier. The sucking action should reset the sensor thus telling the computer that the water is drained and it will start the spin cycle. Just remember if you have to do this to get the washer to spin - that means the sensor is damaged most likely from moisture traveling up the tube over time. The computer board will need to be replaced. I believe it costs $205 without shipping. Hope this helps.

The only way to determine where the leak is coming from is to remove the lower kick panel directly below the door. Remove the panel by removing the screws under the bottom front edge. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then off. If you prop the front feet up this will give you better access (a 2 x 4 works well).
With the panel removed inspect the rubber door bellow. If the front counterweight (gray concrete block on the front of the tub) is wet, the bellow is leaking. Pull the rubber folds back and look for any rips or tears. If the bellow requires replacing, or if you need to simply tighten the clamps, the following link will explain how:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r385211-replacing_door_bellow_whirlpool_duet
NOTE: Check the plastic dispenser hose on the left hand side of the bellow to ensure it is inserted all the way through the rubber to the flange joint. Sometimes this dispenser hose will slip behind the bellow and allow water to seep inside the cabinet of the washer.
Check the drain pump to ensure the filter cap is secure and not leaking. The pump is in the front directly below the wash tub. If the pump IS leaking, make sure the filter cap is tight and all hose clamps are snug. If the pump requires replacement, the following link explains how:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r401845-replacing_drain_pump_whirlpool_duet
Check all hoses the run from the wash tub to the pump, and from the pump to the standpipe at the wall for any signs of cracks or tears.
If the leak is coming from the center portion under the tub, the tub seal is breached and needs to be replaced. This is not an easy repair and will require some extensive disassembly to repair. (Cross that hurdle when the time comes).
Any replacement parts you may need can be purchased at searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com, or repairclinic.com. You can use any web source you like, but these I have found, offer great service with competitive pricing. Shop all of them for the best prices. Hopefully you won't need any parts.
