I wiped my hard drive and installed to install Linux V.11.10 oneric ocelot. Now the wireless card will not work, it says "missing firmware" while i assume this is a driver problem, i can not find the right one to install.

try the driver for the PRIOR version of Windows, usually it will work. The driver for 98SE/2000/ etc. may be your fix!

Any drivers that i do find, are ones that are limited to windows and will not open with linux, which im assuming is because this laptop is normaly paired with windows.
although it is a possibility that the card itself is fried, i would like to see if there is a solution to the firmware issue first, especially considering the card was working fine when i had vista installed.
thanks
