LG Intellowasher 7kg wd-8015c is leaking from underneath

My washing machine has just started making a horrible noise especially when it gets to the spin cycle for a wash. I have had a look and it looks like the tumbler wjere you put the clothes has come away. Im not sure but it looks like it is meant to sit in the rubber seal??? any help would be greatly appreciated. Water is also leaking from beneath the machine at the front !!

The drum.........which you pop ya washing in.......hangs via 2 spring under the machine lid..........if 1 snaps........you will get more noise......and maybe water leaking via the door seal as the drum wont sit level.........
remove lid then look either side for 2 springs.......
if 1 has snapped its an easy fix.......take you about 1/4 of a hour to do.

cheers

You are right!

Bearings have to be replaced. Replace with the same type and design. All the bearings connected to the washer center shaft has to be replaced at the same time with new set.

Replace the water seals also connected to this. Check the shaft where the bearing sits, for any abrasions or metal damage.

Check the bearing housing also. While carrying out these repairs check the drive belt also. If needed replace it.

If you are happy with the machine outer body and other aspects repair it and re-use it.

It could be that the springs have become lazy (stretched) and not supporting the spinning weight as good as they once did or as happened to me one of the shock absorbers at the base of the unit has come adrift from its securing point. Replacement parts are easily available but you will need someone strong to fit them with all that new tension.

LG Intellowasher 7kg wd-8015c leak

Most of the time it is the door seal, open the door and check all the way round. check the sump hose and pump, sometimes it can leak from the soap draw hose to the outer tub, but not in your case I think. In most cases this can be fixed easy and is the door seal. to find out if it is coming from the front or the back, just place some news paper on the floor under the machine and take a look to see if it is the front or the back. a door seal is about 15/25 pounds retail

I have a lg intellowasher 7kg wd-8015c (front loader), and its not spinning and the clothes come out wet. whats wrong and what parts will i need please

If the washer is not spinning you need to check on the motor, motor capacitor and the power from the program controller unit. If there is no power to the motor then the controller is a suspect.
Please check this link for tips: removing the motor:

LG front Loader Intellowasher 7kg WD-8015c has been on a quick 30 mins cyle and is still going after 1 hours just keeps spinning and won't turn off

I have the EXACT same problem wit the LG 8015C. After numerous attempts, I finally found the problem. A set of wires attached to the drum body vibrates against th erear panel, wears off the plastic insulation, shorts and blows the circuit board. All because of sloppy workmanship ! It took 4 years of easy work for this to occur. Will NEVER buy an LG or Front Loader again
