I have a crosley cah4205aww front loader i just seem to not have enough power to spin. It starts and stops at rinse and spin cycle. If I do it manually it starts but not enough it doesn't spin as hard as before. A tech told me to put on the trash that it will be most costly to fix it than to buy a new one but she still work. What should I do?
SOURCE: Crosley caw5923mqd Top Load washer spins but leaves A LOT of water in the clothes
have you checked the pump out of the maachine
the pump may be blocked restricting water flow
if that is ok maybe you need to give the n
machine a hot wash the seals may be draging the spin down

JERRY,
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT TAKEN ON THIS WASHER. A NEW WASHER NORMALY WORKS, BUT IN SOME INSTANCES, LIKE YOUR CASE, IT COULD BE THE BELT OR THE MOTOR COUPLING. WHAT I WOULD DO IS CALL THE PLACE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR WASHER FROM AND HAVE THEM TO BRING YOU A NEW REPLACEMENT. THERE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT WASHING MACHINES NOT WORKING RIGHT WHEN THEY WERE NEW. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND ANYBODY ELSE WHO READS THIS WEBSIT, BECAUSE THERE IS NO SENSE IN THE STORE SELLING A BRAND NEW WASHER WHEN IT ALREADY LEAKS.

Use a putty knife to open the top lid and fold it back. Locate the lid switch. Unplug the washer. Remove the wires from the lid switch. Use a volt meter set for continuity and test the lid switch terminals. If they are open,no reading replace the switch. For a test you can jump the lid switch wires together, set the washer to spin and turn it on. If it spins it confirms a bad lid switch.
