HP pavilion P6120a with asus monitor VK222 version VK222h

This model doesn't have a built in recovery feature that some machines have, so you will need either an operating system disc or an HP operating system recovery disc in order to reload the system to factory original status. I'm sorry, but there is no other way around it.
SOURCE: Computer keeps restarting...
This is going to sound ridiculously obvious, but have you tried
shutting off the power or unplugging it just when it begins to
restart? That's worked for me when I had a similar problem with a
different brand of computer. It sounds like a software problem, not a
hardware problem. Rebooting usually solves things, unless your machine won't turn off -- in which case you have to turn it off by cutting the power. Assuming that you have your CPU plugged into a power
strip, if your HP won't turn off when you hit the power button on the
CPU, turn the power switch on the power strip to OFF and unplug the
power strip.
Wait 10 minutes. Make sure the power strip switch is in the OFF
position, then plug the power strip back in and turn on the power
strip. Then turn on your computer. If you're using Windows, you
should get a message on your screen that says Windows shut down
abnormally and that scan disk is running to check your drive. Then
Windows will either give you a choice of start-up in regular or safe
mode, or else it will simply come up normally on its own. And then you
should be able to check whatever settings you were interested in
changing.
If this doesn't work, shut off the power switch and unplug the
computer, and then call your tech guy: you have a bigger problem than
rebootting Windows can solve. Good luck!
SOURCE: need to go to factory settings
AS SOON AS YOU TURN IT ON THE "HP" LOGO COMES OUT , look down on your screen where it says " RECOVERY " , I think is F10 or F2 and follow instructions from there , and select advance recovery , it will caution you that this option will destroy every file and programs you put in it , setting it to the DEFAULT SETTING or the FACTORY SETTINGS , like taking it out of the box for the first time. hope it helps AJ
SOURCE: HP Pavilion will not work with Dell monitor
it's not referring to the monitor, the hard drive is the problem. maybe driver only.
