Delete demo files on Sandisk c150?

I can't find any way to delete the factory-loaded demo music and photo files on my new c150 either when its connected to my computer or with the c150 controls. They aren't listed in any file directory, but their titles appear in the LCD and they play OK. The only files/albums that that show up in the Windows directory are the ones I loaded. The file structure on the c150 doesn't seem to match the description in the manual either. No firmware update is available. I don't think there's any connction, but I unplugged the c150 before the USB controller said it was safe once or twice.

(Answering my own question.) From further googling I've learned that the pre-loaded files on Sansa players are "hidden". To see them and delete or move them in a Windows directory view, all that's necessary is open the Sansa as a Windows directory (under "My Computer"), and to check the "show hidden files" option in the Windows "folder options" under "Tools".

The demo songs still don't show up when I select "Show hidden files/folders". I had go to Menu->Settings->Format, and proceed with formatting it to get the demo songs off my Sansa c240 (This will delete all songs/files).

"MTP DB Mismatch Format?"

The Insignia NS-DA2G needs to be placed in File & Folder mode, and you'll need to have your mac show you all files on the device. Macs will create a smaller file that starts with "._" that contain very little information, but can cause problems with Windows based or Windows preferred devices. These files are not ignored by the PC or certain Windows optomized devices. You should erase these files for the unit to perform normally.

If you are unable to delete these files, you can re-format the device to FAT-32 and that will erase all information on the device. You shouls also hit the reset button (located next to the "HOLD" switch) for about 5-10 seconds to clear the internal settings.
