Normaly 20 to 1
but with some of the newer oils you need to follow the instructions on the the oil bottle the newer cleaner fuels are now mixed at 50 to 1

Unless you know better, I would use 40:1. That will give you more oil than needed if it is 50:1 but wont hurt the engine. Do some more checking to get the actual ratio...Lee
1. check fuel filter in gas tank (for clogged condition).
2. Check carb jet for dirt (squirt carb cleaner in jet and fuel inlet
Summary: your carb is not getting enough fuel to mix properly with constant air flow. Therefore, fuel supply needs to be cleaned... then you will run happy!!

I am not positive but we have stihl equip. and some other 2 stoke brands about 35 pieces and we run 32-1 in all of it and have never had any problems that should work for any brand
Mine says on the gas cap 50:1
