Gas oil ratio

read the instructions on the 2 cycle container for your mix ratio I.E. 50:1 may equal 4oz oil to 1 gal gas etc

50:1 is the gas ratio... thats about 2.6 ounces of 2 cycle mix to one gallon of gas

The oil to gas ratio is 50 to 1 or about 2.8 ounces of oil to a gallon of prem. gas

If you go about 32:1 you will be OK. It may be a 40:1 unit, but better safe than sorry if you are not certain.

Unless you know better, I would use 40:1. That will give you more oil than needed if it is 50:1 but wont hurt the engine. Do some more checking to get the actual ratio...Lee

1. check fuel filter in gas tank (for clogged condition).
2. Check carb jet for dirt (squirt carb cleaner in jet and fuel inlet

Summary: your carb is not getting enough fuel to mix properly with constant air flow. Therefore, fuel supply needs to be cleaned... then you will run happy!!

I USE SOME STUFF CALLED OPTI THAT WAY YOU ONE CAN FOR ALL YOUR 2 CYL STUFF ITS GOOD STUFF

40:1 is the ratio. One of those little 2-cycle oil bottles poured into one gallon of gas will give you this ratio.

I am not positive but we have stihl equip. and some other 2 stoke brands about 35 pieces and we run 32-1 in all of it and have never had any problems that should work for any brand
