I think we have accidentally put the Sony DVP-S330 DVD player into a dealer lock setting. The disk that is in the player now plays fine, and all functions work, but when we try the Open button the display reads "LOCKED" and the drawer will not open. The owner's manual and the Sony web site only say to check with the dealer or repair center when this happens. From reading here and at other sites, I think we are stuck in a dealer lock setting, which allows a dealer to put the machine on display with a disk playing and prevent customers in the store from removing the disk. I've tried unplugging the machine and leaving it unplugged for 15 minutes. I've tried holding Open & Power & Return all at once, and a few other key combinations, but nothing has worked yet. display says locked, drawer won't open
SOURCE: Display says "LOCKED", won't eject disk, all other functions work. Need unlock procedure.
How I got my DVD
from ”lock” condition
My DVD (Panasonic m:
DMR-ES10) had gone to ”locked” condition without any warning.
Perhaps the reason
was that I transfered the machine when it was on and recording was going…
Guidebook didn´t help to resolve the problem, neither

Usually answered in minutes!
In this instance, there is no disk in the drive, or at least the player says " no disc". I did try the solution posted here, as well as one that the Call Centre at Sony Canada suggested, which was:
hold down Open+Power+Stop at the same time, it also did not open the drawer. Mine was the display model at the store, the only one remaining. I'm not sure if it was programmed to lock so that customers wouldn't steal the DVD or not. Any ideas?
i was doing a google for your problem and found a solution here
its a very similar post as yours..and i really dont know if the answer mentioned there will help..please do ask the other experts..regards!
