Ice build up out side hitting fan

This sounds like no defrost is happening. Frost is supposed to accumulate and then be heated and water runs off, routinely.

Check defrost timer and heating coil.

Happens to me too. The drain freezes, freezer floor freezes and then ice starts building up to the point where it forms in the fan area and then the blades hit the fan and it gets very noisy. In my case, the container that is supposed to carry the defrosted water to the drain has a electric wire running underneath and twisting around the drain hole. I believe this wire is supposed to heat up and melt the ice to stop the drain hole from freezing. I believe the heating mechanism has failed in my case and suspect the same for you. Until fixed, this will continue to freeze up every so often. Search for your LG freezer drain heating element or parts.

I had that ice build-up problem on a side-by-side GE. In the end, it turned out to be the defrost timer. After 20 years of use, it wasn't keeping the defrost cycle ON long enough to let all the water drain out. After replacing the timer, problem disappeared.

In case the ice is not getting ejected and seems to be stuck in the ice maker, the defect lies in the ejector mechanism. Since the ice maker cannot eject the ice, you need to put it to the manual shut off mode, so that ice maker doesn't continue to make more ice. In such a scenario, you will need to shut off the power to the freezer for carrying out the repair, so if you are not comfortable with handling electrical appliances, you could seek professional help.

The rubbing noise comes from your build up of ice. If no auto-de-icer, then unplug your fridge or turn it off, allow it to thaw, remove all dripping water. restart or replug

I use a shop vac to remove water.

be sure NOT to break, or chip the ice, as you may break freezer components

The evaporator fan motor inside your fridge is constantly trying to keep the temperature you have set it to. when the fan is on it circulates the cold air from your freezer in to your fridge. if you hear a banging noise it is cause by the fan hitting a build up of ice. this can be caused by a clogged drain pan or tube, not allowing water build up to be drained, or you could also have a defrost heater issue in which case you would have a large build up of ice near your fan. you can access the fan motor by removing the two panels at the back of the freezer, once removed you will be able to see whether or not there is a ice build up.hope this helps you

If noise stops when you open the door, you may have a noisy fan (or could have ice build up, causing fan blade to hit ice and cause noise). I gather it is a frost-free model ie has a fan in the freezer compartment. If noise is caused by fan hitting ice build up, you may have a problem with the auto defrost system, as you should not get ice build up in a frost free.
Noise stops when you open door because fan turns off when door is opened.

clear ice and with hot water pour into the drain hole till open and drains ,, take back panel of freezer out and wrap a piece of thick cooper wire around the heater and drop into the drain hold about 1in and it will keep drain open / thanks

The fan should blow air into the heat sink. The warm air exits the heat sink at both ends. (It might work the other way, haven't tried it.)

When you have ice in your cooler, you know the thermo-electric element is working well--it's below freezing!

Ice builds up because there is water in the cooler. For example, in humid weather, you open the cooler, some humid air gets in, and the cooler temperature condenses the water. You have to empty this water, either by tipping the cooler, or using a sponge.

You can easily defrost the cooler by unplugging it for an hour or so. You know it's time to defrost when you hear the fan blades making a racket because they're hitting something--a thick buildup of ice.
