Squeeling sound on spin cycle

HI,
This sounds like a leak under the unit and above the motor. I would suggest tipping the unit back, look unit the washer for milking brown residue on the cabinet and the motor area. If present you will need a new outer tub and this won't repair will not be cheap. I am sure this answer is not what you want to hear. If no residue, I would look into the pumps as you can have a foreign objects inside them and cause a-lot of noise during operation. But the only way to make sure if to look.

frigidaire made probably tub seal but check for leaky pump first

likely needs the rear bearing and the front glide and felt kit.

it sounds like it could be the lid switch malfunctioning. the part should look something like this.

check the belt, pulley, & idler pulley assy.

gabehart....sounds like belt is slipping. Replace it. The water pump is on a separate smaller motor so is not affected by the agitator/spin motor.

Check your lid switch ,if its not engaging replace it.

check the timer

check to make sure the machine is properly balanced. an off balance machine will vibrate causing that sound.
