I am using windows 2003 server.and i an facing the problem which says(Generic Host Process for Win32 Services encountered) due to that error ma internet connection got disconnect.i am a local net provider due 2 that error sharing of ma all network become infected and when ever any clint acces my system my net connection drop and a error eport appear on the system and it stop some of my service due 2 which my sharing dosent appear on LAN..

    HERE WE ARE USING SYMANTEC AND ITS WORKING GOOD

    Generic Host Process for Win 32 Svcs has encountered a problem and must close. Microsoft says this is fixed with XP SP3, well, guess what, it's not. As a matter a fact it gets worse with the message repeating 10 or 11 times.

Your probably infected with virus. get a good antivirus like kaspersky and then download combofix and scan with it. see if that helps your problem.

80% of this error message were "Generic Host Process For Win32 Services Encountered A Problem and needs to close" caused by the activities of a virus.Use a good antivirus like avira* or avast (It is absolutly free) then problem not fixed re-install your operating system and use a good antivirus.

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services or svchost.exe is a legal and essential component of Windows which is used to host services which run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs).

Please note that legal svchost.exe should reside in Windows\System32 folder and should not appear in startup list.

If it does appear, do a Malware/spyware/virus scan on your PC.

this is most likeley due to a trojan virus impersonating as win32 host process. review all services running and pay close attention to any service that looks weird. Run DRWEB free trojan cleaner you can download it by googling it.
