Monitor goes blurry, colours/pixels start shaking across screen

Replace your monitor power cord

This happens when you keep a device close to monitor which uses wireless technology or signal(Cell phone, wireless router or modem). Also try to make distance between speakers and monitor, as speakers contains magnets and that causes such issues.

Best thing to do, try a different known working monitor to hook up to the computer. If the screen works and doesn't change colors then you know its the original monitor that is bad.

If you hook up the known working monitor and the same problem happens then you know its the video card that is bad and the video card would have to be replaced.

This problem is in all probability your monitor which requires repairing.

Your comp's video card refresh rate (in Hertz, abbreviated Hz) may not be totally compatible with the monitor. Check the properties of your video card, and change the refresh rate (you may have to look around for it) to 60 Hz. This is a pretty standard refresh rate that works with just about every monitor. If it's already there, I'm afraid someone else will have to try and help!

you have touch up the solder point at the pict board. Because the solder joints dried up - lead poor contact.

Your driver transistors are failing on those "Rows" of Pixels.. a common problem .. you could try "Pixel Reviver" software from here http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor see if that helps.. but it possibly is on the way out sorry..

Are you able to test this monitor on another computer as it sounds like a graphics card fault and not the monitor.
